Subsequently going back to the ATT mail site on another tab in incognito (or mail site) brings up the emails without requiring a password (only putting in the userid and hitting next gets you back in). ![]() Note: With settings on Chrome turned off to not save passwords, autofill is turned-off and logging incognito into the ATT mail on the Yahoo server (with no checkmark to remain connected), and then logging out, the connection still persists. Also, creating a new POP3 account didn't solve the problem.Ĭorrespondingly another anomaly is with connecting to the emails directly from the ATT mail website. We have tried resetting the password, creating a secure mail key to help synchronize, changing password back to the original, etc - all to no avail. I believe the problem is with password synchronization between POP3 and the yahoo back-end server for AT&T's most loyal customers like me who have been with AT&T for over 20 years and may therefore be configured on a legacy system.
